City & Guilds Level 2 Legal Secretaries Year 1 Certificate / Year 2 Diploma(2010/2011)

Study Method:
Formal class work, discussion groups and two weeks' work experience. Students are expected to attend classes on a 5-day week basis for one or two years.

Duration :One or two year course.

Who the Course is For:
Applications are welcome from school leavers and mature students who wish to pursue a secretarial career, particularly in the legal area such as solicitors' offices, barristers' chambers or the courts.
Assessment:
For ILEX and BTEC qualifications, mainly by Assignments.
OCR qualifications and Shorthand by external exam.

Course Leads To:
Skills and qualifications which will enable students to obtain employment at junior level.
- Mature students learning new skills and/or updating old skills gaining an advantage in the job market.
- Entry for ILEX Legal Executives.
