Qualifications
Edexcel (BTEC) Advanced Diploma in Construction. The course is equivalent to 3 'A' levels.

Successful candidates can proceed directly to Higher Education and study for a Foundation Degree or Degree. Topic Areas Include: Architecture, Quantity and Building Surveying, Buying, Planning, Property, Housing, Construction Management, Design, Land Surveying, General Practice and Valuation, Surveying and Facilities Management.

Modules
You will study a range of modules tailored to meet your requirements. The course profile includes Core and Specialist units giving you the opportunity to study common themes across several disciplines, together with your chosen career pathway. TOPIC AREAS INCLUDE: Surveying, CAD, Health & Safety, Materials, Building Technology, Measurement, Design, Building Services, Building Regulations, Science and Maths. OTHER SPECIALISMS: Cater for Planning, Building Surveying, Land Surveying and General Practice and Valuation Surveying. Emphasis is placed on the relationship between the industry and the environment. ASSESSMENT - The units are assessed individually by on-course assignments, projects and tests. An externally set Integrated Assignment covering 2 units forms part of the second year assessment profile.
