EDEXCEL (BTEC) First Diploma in Performing Arts/Performance

Course Details

Students will study Dance, Singing and Drama throughout the year. Students take part in live performances throughout the year with a major public show performed at Christmas and at the end of the year. Performing arts students will participate in all aspects of the production, including business aspects, dance, singing and acting.

Qualifications required:
4 GCSEs grade A-D or equivalent. Students must demonstrate skill and commitment to the course through interview and audition.

1 year.

The Horncastle Building at the College's Queen's Gardens Centre.

Additional info:
Equipment needed/costs: Stationery, Theatre trips etc. Students will also have the opportunity to purchase dance wear and appropriate foot wear through the college.

Further study e.g. EDEXCEL (BTEC) National Diploma in - Dance, Drama, Music Practice, Music Technology, Musical Theatre or Technical Theatre.
