This is a two-year full-time course which comprises a number of individual BTEC units which combine to provide a comprehensive coverage of Electrical Electronics. One credit unit is obtained by completing the requirements of the individual unit. To obtain the Diploma, eighteen units must be successfully completed over the two years of the course. You will be expected to work both on your own.

A core number of subjects: Business Systems for Technicians, Electrical and Electronic Principles, Science for Technicians, Communications for Technicians, Mathematics for Technicians, Project - Electrical/Electronic. Specialist Units Include: Micro Electronics, Electrical Applications, Health, Safety and Welfare, Programmable Controllers, Software Development, Electronics, Analogue and digital Electronics and Introduction to Robot Technology.

Course Content
This is a two-year full-time course which comprises a number of individual BTEC units which combine to provide a comprehensive coverage of Electrical Electronics. One credit unit is obtained by completing the requirements of the individual unit. To obtain the Diploma, eighteen units must be successfully completed over the two years of the course. You will be expected to work both on your own and in small groups on a range of assignments designed to integrate the units of the course into a coherent whole.
