Introduction
The BA (Hons) Fashion Media and Promotion programme (BA FMP) aims to provide students with the techniques required to operate successfully as fashion communicators within the exciting and ever changing world of Fashion Media.
The course will establish and enhance creative, innovative, research, technical, personal and intellectual skills so that, on completion, students will be equipped to cope with the pressures of a demanding media based working environment.
The emphasis of the programme is centred on gaining the essential skills of fashion media through introductions to fashion and broadcast journalism, print and digital editorial practices, imaging/styling and trend analysis with recognition given to the skills of fashion promotion and advertising which are all underpinned by effective market research and marketing.
