AS: In the first year you will study British and American films. You will look at technical elements of film, genre and narrative through close analysis of carefully selected examples.

A2: The second year is devoted to World Cinema focusing on film in Korea and Hong Kong. As in the first year there will be a single film close study.

How will I be assessed?
AS: 2 pieces of courseowrk make up half of your overall grade: an analysis of a sequence from a film of your choice, and a digitally-photographed storyboard for a short sequence from a film. The other half of your grade is from an exam on British and American cinema.
