This 2-year full-time course has been developed for you to follow a career in Complementary Therapies at Management level.

Entry requirements
You will need to have achieved at least one of the following: 2 A Level passes at Grade C or above, a BTEC National Diploma in Beauty Therapy or NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy, Holistic Therapy or related subjects or equivalent experience. In addition you will be invited to attend an interview.

What will I study?
The following modules will be studied: Therapeutic Body Work; Massage; Reiki; Reflexology; Aromatherapy; Indian Head Massage & Ayurvedic Therapy; Anatomy & Physiology; Nutrition; Personal & Professional Development; Independent Research; Employment Experience Certificate and Key Skills.

How will I be assessed?
Assessment of the modules will take many forms, ranging from traditional written examinations, to continuous practical and written assessments, a reflective journal, case studies, peer assessment and self-assessment.

Career Opportunities & Progression
Opportunities are vast and unlimited from a clinical environment to self-employment or a management position within a Holistic Health Spa. Teaching is also an option. This course is run in partnership with the University of Glamorgan.
