Course Description
This course is aimed at people aspiring towards careers in Computing or those who wish to continue with their education at a Higher Education Level. The first year provides a broad programme of study for students wishing to improve their skills in ICT.

The course provides a balanced programme of study for students of computing and information technology and will enhance your prospects whether you choose to work in the computing industry or use information technology in other contexts. The second year includes a work-based-element.

The two year course consists of the following modules. There is a mixture of lectures and practical work presented in specialised computing suites.

Internet application development,
Information systems development,

Introduction to visual programming

Year 2

Computer systems and networking design
Information systems analysis and design
Problem solving for computing

Work-Based-Element

On Completion
Academic progression can be made to a Degree in Computing or other disciplines.There are career opportunities in the public sector, industry and in other private enterprises.
