Is the course for me?
This course will develop your skills in networking, multimedia, web design and programming as well as undertaking work experience throughout both years to gain an insight into the application of skills taught.

What will I learn?
You will study Web Design (Using Dreamweaver) , Information Systems, Computers Systems, Programming (Using Java) and Networking (CCNA) as well as undertaking work placement in the first year of the Full-time course. For the part-time course theses modules will be split over two years. In year two you will study all these modules in more detail such as Advanced Web Design and Further Programming.

· BTEC National Diploma or AVCE

· NVQ Level 3

· A Levels (minimum 120 UCAS points)

· Pass in an appropriate kite-marked Access to Higher Education course.

·An applicant who does not have GCSE Grade C or above for English Language and Mathematics or equivalent(s) will be required to undertake appropriate literacy and numeracy tests.

Where possible an academic reference will be required to ensure suitability for this level of programme.

If you do not meet the above admissions requirements, you may still be considered based on individual knowledge, skills and academic suitability for the programme.

How will I be assessed?
All units are assessed via assignment work which will include assignment tasks spread throughout the unit and these will include both practical and theory tasks.

What can I do after the course?
You can progress onto the final year of Bsc(Hons)in Computer Science degree course.
