Learners should have a minimum entry age of 18 years and possess one of the following:

2 AS levels
Equivalent level qualification
Mature learners over 21 years old with NO formal qualifications but with commitment to sport may also be eligible subject to interview.

Career Prospects
The course aims to provide a platform for vocational and academic development in sport, with potential to career progression within coaching or onto further study. At the end of the course the learner may wish to leave with a Foundation Degree. There are, however, further options that might be considered:
After completion of a bridging module, progress to the third year of a degree in sports studies/science at the University of Glamorgan
Progress to an alternative sports studies/science degree course
