Hair Design - Intensive Course - Pivot Point

Course Content:
This is an intensive 10 months Hair Design programme. Students will study five days each week over two semesters in the year.

The programme has 3 levels - Introduction, Intermediate and Advanced. Each level is designed to cover all core aspects of the Hairdressing Industry on a progressive scale, demanding an increase in competence at each level.

Theoretical knowledge and practical training are covered in areas such as client relations, ladies and gents haircutting, permanent waving, hair colouring, long hair, hair and scalp disorders and treatments. Salon reception is also included in the programme.

SCQF Level: 6

Entry Requirements:
This course is suitable for highly motivated individuals with a mature outlook and a desire to fast track an intensive hairdressing programme.

Although no formal academic qualifications are required, applicants will be expected to have attained a good level of literacy and numeracy, have excellent communication skills and a desire to succeed in the Hairdressing Industry.

All applicants will be interviewed prior to the course.
