This course is designed to provide candidates with essential IT skills and knowledge required for employment in the commercial/administrative sector.

Course Content:
The mail subject areas in this updated course focus on: IT Applications (including Databases and Spreadsheets), Applications Development, Database Design, PC Support, Introduction to SQL, Relationa Database Systems.

Course delivery incorporates the Oracle Academy Curriculum offering the opportunity to persue Oracle Certification.

SCQF Level: 7

Entry Requirements:
1 Higher, 12 relevant SQA units, NC Digital Media or other relevant qualifications and experience.

Study Mode:
Full-Time, Part-Time.

Progression To:
Access to 2nd year of HND Information Technology.

Career Paths:
Any career requiring a good knowledge of Computer applications, including Web Page Design, and IT Support.
