Aim:
This course aims to provide students with the digital knowledge that will enable them to take a full role in the knowledge economy of the 21st century.

Course Content
Developing an interactive product, sound and vision for interactivity, building an e-business, user interface design, web development, animation, digital media: audio, digital media: video.

Core units:
Interactive media: planning, interactive media: authoring, user interface design, digital imaging: bitmap and vector, project management, legal issues for interactive media developers, sound and vision for interactivity, building an e-business, human computer interface.

Optional Units:
3D modelling and animation, website optimisation, producing a data driven website.

SCQF Level: 8

Entry Requirements:
1 higher or NC in Digital Media Computing or experience.

Full-Time

Progression To
Access to second or third year Multimedia related university Degree programme.

Educational Progression:
After completing HND, 3rd year entry to BSc at the University of the West of Scotland.
