How is the Qualification Achieved ?
There are end of unit tests throughout the qualification and a synoptic test of practical skills towards the end of the course.
On Successful Completion of this Course
Successful completion of the qualification may allow progress onto the Level 2 in both Food Preparation & Cooking, and Food & Drink Service or directly into employment.
Additional Information
The Food & Drink Service additional programme provides the opportunity for hands-on work experience in a restaurant which is open to the public. Students will be taught the skills required to lay wait on tables using silver service and to serve drinks in a licensed bar.
