Are you looking to gain employment in the childcare sector? If the answer is yes, then Kilmarnock College can help you to achieve your goal. This course is a mixture of college-based learning and work experience, giving a solid understanding or childcare skills as well as practical experience. Learners undertake a work placement within a range of child care settings for 2 days per week. This enables participants to gain direct experience of working with children within the child care sector. All learners will be asked to give consent for a criminal records check to be carried out by Disclosure Scotland. Learners must be aged 17 at the start of the placement.
