Nursing SWAP (Access to)
This course is aimed at those who will normally have been out of education for a while, with life experience skills and are wishing to return to education with their objective to access University to commence towards a career in nursing.

You will undertake a number of care specific subjects including values and principles in care, caring for people with dementia, first aid, anatomy and physiology and medical terminology as well as having the opportunity to increase your skills in communication, numeracy and information technology.

All subjects will be taught and assessed as a continuous process, with no end of course examinations. A combination of workbooks, practical activities, and written assessments are used to assess the level of knowledge and understanding.

Further Study/Employment
After successful completion of the course you can progress to the degree in Nursing.
