Course Description:

Course Content:
Six units are studied:
· Uniformed Public Services Employment
· Public Service Skills
· Uniformed Public Service Fitness
· The Value of Sport & Recreation in the Public Services
· Driving and its Relationship to the Public Services
· Adventurous Activities and Teamwork for the Public Services
· Key Skills.
You will also have the opportunity to take part in day trips, which have included, rock climbing, rafting, canoeing, paintball and visits to public services places of work. A residential trip is also planned each year at an outdoor activity centre where you will
participate in a variety of outdoor activities.
Assessment:
All six modules are assessed internally.
Next Steps:
Public Services Edexcel National Diploma or employment within the sector.
