About this course

No formal qualifications required. Students will progress onto this course from the Introduction to Further Education course. Students will be motivated towards their learning and interested in acquiring new skills. Emphasis is placed on gaining independence skills.

Skills for Adulthood (Entry Level)
Course Content
This course is designed to develop students confidence and ability to carry out tasks in everyday situations.
The emphasis of this course is to encourage students to meet the demands of both college and adult life in a variety of confidence boosting situations.

Teaching/Assessment
Students have weekly tutorial sessions where opportunities are provided for group and personal discussions. Students also participate in an elective studies programme.
