  • This course involves visits, therefore a fee will be payable to cover these costs both in the 1st and 2nd year. Details will be available at interview.

Attendance and additional study hours
  • You will attend College 4 days per week and should allow for 15 hours of additional study.

Further information
To enhance student learning over both years, this course will involve a range of study visits (day and residential) both within the UK and Overseas which will be linked to specific subject units. Where appropriate the course will also include guest speaker talks from industry specialists. During the 2nd year a period of industry experience will be undertaken which can provide opportunities for students to forge links for future career development. Solihull College offers full time and part time courses for businesses and residents in Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Coventry Warwickshire and the whole of the West Midlands.
This course will enable you to seek employment across a range of Travel and Tourism sectors auch as: Retail/Business Travel, Tourist Information Centres, Holiday Representatives (both within the UK and Overseas), Ground Crew at Airports, Tour Operators, Cruise Ships, Visitor Attractions, Conference and Events, Hotels. It will also enable progression onto Higher Education.
