If you are interested in working within the travel industry, specifically in the airline or retail travel sectors, or furthering your qualifications to HND level, this course is ideal for you.

The course covers the following areas: Communication: Analysing and Presenting, Complex Communication, Creating a Culture of Customer Care, Retail Travel Practice, Structure of the Travel and Tourism Industry, Spanish for Work, Information Technology, International Tourist Destinations, Developing Skills for Personal Effectiveness, Air Travel: Reservations, Fares and Ticketing, Applying Marketing Principles in Travel and Tourism, Travel: Graded Unit 1.

You will have the opportunity to take part in an educational visit to an overseas tourist destination. This visit is a compulsory element of the course.

Further Study/Employment
On completing this course you can progress to HND study or year 2 of a related degree course. This course will also prepare you for a career in air cabin service, airline and holiday reservations, resort representation etc.
