Course Description:
A systematic programme of consolidation and development of grammar and vocabulary accompanies the study of topics throughout the programme and all four basic skills of Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing are practised intensively.

Assessment and Progression:
Assessment
Students are assessed on an ongoing basis by means of regularly set tasks and formal reports on their progress are collated and upgraded by tutors at regular intervals. Assessment methods include listening, reading and writing tasks as well as coursework.

Progression
Successful completion of this programme, in combination with other suitable qualifications, will allow entry into a wide range of Higher Education programmes or employment

Duration:
One year for AS Level; a further one year for A2.

If you are under 19 on 31 August when your programme begins and are full-time, you will be entitled to free tuition and no examination fees wherever you live, provided you are a European Community National.
