Entry requirements 120 Level 5 credits and 120 level 4 credits are necessary; APEL/APL is available upon request we can advise you upon your application. Plus: Be registered with Nursing and Midwifery Council as Registered Nurse Be employed as a General Practice Nurse that enables the achievement of module competencies. Have the support of a practice nurse mentor approved by the programme leader

This module aims to allow general practice nurses to undertake an independent project that drives service improvement in their area of general practice nursing. It will provide students with an opportunity to develop and apply their research skills in relation to: a literature review; an evidence based report; a work based learning project, an audit of practice or a teaching package within a specific area of interest within the healthcare organisation. The student will choose an area related to their work role and apply independent learning skills to explore in depth
FGPN 3003 & 3004 may be taken individually as short courses for the award of a University Advanced Diploma.
