Are you interested in Natural Sciences and Engineering but do not want to commit to one particular subject yet? Then the new Bachelor’s degree program NaSciTech (Fundamentals of Natural Sciences for Technology) is the right program for you. The curriculum consists of courses in chemistry, mathematics and physics, helping you to build a solid foundation in these three subject areas. The first four semesters give you an opportunity to explore these subject areas in detail – you then specialize in one particular area during the fifth and sixth semester of the program.

The Bachelor's degree program NaSciTech is not only for new students at the JKU who wish to pursue an academic degree but have not yet decided on a particular subject area. Even if you wish to consciously acquire broader, scientific knowledge, NaSciTech is the right program for you. Graduates are well-educated and highly qualified pursue variety of professional careers, particularly those requiring interdisciplinary skills and the ability to think critically and assess problems.

Students from AHS schools from the 7th class onward may take university-level courses during the last two years of high school.Academic credit can be transferred from some high school courses and count toward the degree program at the university.
