2. Course description Learners will be taught how to restore and repair items of furniture, which they bring to the class. This will include French Polishing and Staining techniques. Where possible, learners will also discover the history of the furniture they have bought to the class.

Entry requirements All abilities welcome.No specific skills or prior knowledge required but learners will have to transport their individual projects to the class on a weekly basisWe welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. Please let staff know if you require any extra support when you enrol and they will arrange for a member of the Supported Learning Team to contact you to discuss your support needs. Surrey Adult Learning values and supports equality and diversity by promoting fairness and respect at all times. 4. Equipment required Learners may bring with them equipment that they feel would be useful in helping them work on individual projects' e.g. wire wool, stripping knives, rubber gloves, paint brushes.
