3. Entry requirements This is an introduction to furniture restoration and all are abilities welcome.No specific skills or prior knowledge required but learners will have to transport their individual projects to the workshop.We welcome learners with additional needs and disabilities. Please let staff know if you require any extra support when you enrol and they will arrange for a member of the Supported Learning Team to contact you to discuss your support needs. Surrey Adult Learning values and supports equality and diversity by promoting fairness and respect at all times. 4. Equipment required Old clothes or an apron will be required and for beginners a small piece of wooden furniture which can be restored. Learners on existing courses should bring their individual projects to complete. A small selection of tools, which may be helpful during the workshop, may include the following: rubber gloves, stripping tool, wire wool, sandpaper, notebook and pen. 5.
