FUSED GLASS JEWELLERY

This course concentrates on making glass pieces to be used in jewellery. You will explore different connecting methods and work with silver to make completed pieces such as earings, pendants and bracelets.

The course will cover working with clear, coloured and dichroic glass. We will look at firing schedules and kiln preperation. You will explore a wide range of decorative techniques such as inclusions, relief and different glass - frits, stringer and confetti.

The aim of the course is to inform you of the possibilities for fused glass jewellery and leave you with a good foundation of knowledge so you can pursue the technique yourself.
