Course description
Who can join?
You should hold the National Certificate Highland Gamekeeping and have a reasonably high standard of physical fitness.
How do I attend?
You will have a placement with an employer on a sporting estate and will attend The NHC - Thurso for short blocks of study. When attending college assistance with travel and accommodation costs is provided.
While in your work placement on the estate the employer provides you with accommodation.
What will I study?
Building on the skills gained at NC level, the emphasis is on the management of game and wildlife, particularly deer and grouse, and their habitats.
What could I do next?
You could choose full-time employment in a wide variety of estates throughout Britain, or decide to take a higher level course at participating universities.
