Gas Safety Awareness Training

Course Objectives:

The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1998 placed duties for employers to ensure that their employees are competent to carry out the range of duties for which they are employed and that there is compliance with all relevant regulations. The range of employees covered includes managers, engineers, telephonists, receptionists etc.

In addition to the requirement above, an employer must also ensure that regular updating/refresher training is carried out.

Courses are ususally of 1 to 3 days duration depending on the depth of knowledge required and can be tailored to meet specific company training needs. A site visit may be necessary prior to arranging a course to identify any specific work areas.

On-site training will require a well-lit room that will accommodate up to 10 people with the provision of chairs, desks and an electric point.
