Programme Description:
The course covers units in pure mathematics, further pure, mechanics and statistics. An A Level is made up of six units, four of which are pure while the other two are mechanics or statistics. Students are advised which combination best suits them based on their other subjects and career needs. Students demonstrating a special aptitude for mathematics and a wish to apply to universities such as Oxbridge, will also be advised to study further mathematics. A levels in mathematics and further mathematics can be achieved by completing the full twelve modules of mathematics available.
