Course Description:

This course is for those students who have a language knowledge equivalent to approximately 2 years.
You will be following the Edexcel Syllabus and you will be examined on all four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. It is a structured course with prescribed topics and grammar.
During the months preceding the exam in June, you will be sitting mock examinations which will enable you to assess your own progress and the teacher to estimate the grade.
At the end of the course, you should be able to read, write, understand and speak the language in a variety of everyday communicative situations which will include media, entertainment, social activities, fitness and health.
The exam will take place in June and you will be asked to be registered in January/February.

PROGRESSION

On completion of this course, you should be able to progress to:
  • AS Level
  • Intermediate Conversation
