Gel Nails for Hand & Feet

Introduction:
Gel is a completely different course to acrylic. No powders are involved, no strong smells are present in the room and a UV lamp is needed to cure the nails in to their newly formed shape. Gel is a self leveling product and most people find it easier to use than acrylic.

Study Mode & Location:
3 hours per week for 3 weeks at Fulwood Campus. Hair and Beauty department, Room D408. (Top floor of the sports building), St Vincents Road, Fulwood, Preston, PR2 8UR

Course Content:
Health & Safety, Product knowledge, application of gel nails & toes. (This an intense hands on course).

Assessment:
1 Full set of nails & toes (students must provide own clients on specified dates).

Careers & Progression Opportunities:
Fully qualified in all aspects of Gel & acrylic, students may want to proceed onto a nail art and drill courses.

Additional Information
A College certificate is gained at the end of the course. Students will need to purchase a gel kit from the college as it contains the essential equipment necessary to achieve the best results. This also causes less confusion with other products and everybody is using exactly the same products.

How To Apply
You will need to have an informal interview with an Adult Admissions Adviser.
Many courses have limited places so please enquire as soon as possible. Following interview, the earliest you may enrol is mid-June.

Depending upon your circumstances, you may be able to study at a reduced price.
