If you successfully complete this course you may have the opportunity to apply for the basic course in catering at the College, or find employment as a junior catering assistant.

What does the course involve?:
The course will include the following topics:
• cookery theory
• practical cookery
• work experience
• basic kitchen operations
• information technology
• work skills and career education.

Tuesdays - Fridays, various times
Are there any exams?:
You will be taught the skills and assessed for:
• NVQ Level 1 Multi-skilled Hospitality
• Essential Food Hygiene Certificate
• health and safety.
