Programme Description:
This level 2 learning programme includes a City & Guilds L2 Certificate and Welsh Baccalaureate L2. This course has been designed to satisfy candidates who want to progress, but are not ready for a level 3 programme and who wish to acquire level 2 engineering competences in a sheltered, controlled environment.
An opportunity to resit English and Mathematics GCSEs is available with this course, essential requirements for progression to level 3 engineering courses.

Progression and Employment:
The programme provides evidence that you can do a particular job or skill to level 2 standard and may help you progress to employment or to a higher level NVQ/BTEC or similar qualification. It will develop learners with broadbased engineering skills and help them decide on a particular engineering specialisation (ie. mechanical or electrical).
