The 4-week programme combines 20 morning lessons of General English with 8 afternoon lessons focusing on English for Tourism.
The course offers students the chance to develop and practise specialist vocabulary and structures needed for the tourism industry or for use whilst travelling. Content will be guided by the needs and wants of the students and topics will include hotels, travel agents, tours, restaurants, money and health.

About this course

After you take a General English plus Tourism at St Giles, you should:
have learnt specialist vocabulary used in travel services, hotels, and hospitality

have developed your listening, reading and writing skills

have a greater understanding of the grammatical structure of English


This course is designed for students who work in the tourism industry or those who use English when travelling on business or on holiday.
