What will I learn?
This is multidisciplinary subject, offering the opportunity to develop a range of skills including cartographic, numerical, written and research skills. Physical geography is concerned with the earth, and human geography looks at the activities of human beings in their physical settings. It addresses many of the issues that are in the news every day, such as famine, war, immigration, agriculture and industry. You will study the effect that the human and physical worlds have on each other.
What qualifications do I need?
We would normally require candidates to have the standard sixth form entry requirements, including GCSE Geography, English and Mathematics all to at least grade C or above.

Geography is very highly regarded by both university admissions tutors and employers. It is valuable for a range of careers including: surveying, town and country planning, landscape architecture, environmental consultancy and teaching
