Glass Fusing

Learn the skills and safe practice associated with glass fusing, to create beautiful decorative pieces.

This ten-week course, repeated in the second and third terms, will introduce students to the basics of fused glass materials, processes and techniques, such as the use of stringers, frits and inlays. In our well-equipped studio, with access to a large fusing kiln, you will learn to make samples and to record processes, and then go on to design and complete a range of personal projects.

Students will need to provide their own specialist materials. This will be discussed at the first session. Some basic materials will be provided.

Recruitment - if we do not recruit to our target numbers we will try to offer the courses at reduced hours. If a course does not recruit enough students to run, you will receive a refund. Please refer to the Adult Course Guide for guidance on other refund issues.
