Global Business is designed to develop students’ knowledge and skills, tackling challenges and pursuing their ambitions via interactive and blended learning methods.

You will acquire business knowledge in areas of globalisation, economics, communications, analytics, finance, international law, international human resource management and customer service excellence.

Our students benefit from the University’s links to many arenas, having over 1,500 industrial partners worldwide. The lecturers who teach on this degree programme have previous experience of working with and for companies such as Unilever, Royal Bank of Scotland, Kraft, National Grid, Honeywell and the BBC, and their perspective on business is brought into the classroom.

Course programme

  • The Business School has excellent links with professional bodies and business experts who enhance our teaching with guest lectures. In the last year, this has included Ann Francke, the CEO of the Chartered Management Institute and Felipe Alviar-Baquero, who was a popular finalist on the BBC’s The Apprentice TV show.
  • Flexible delivery allows some evening attendance to cater for students with busy schedules or family commitments.
  • Work placement opportunities are available to all of our students who demonstrate a good standard of engagement and professionalism during their studies.
