Prof Datta is the perfect I have seen. He covers the basics of Solid State, and displays his (genuine) 'NEW PERSPECTIVE." He interfaces with a Global Audience extremely nicely, suited for instructing understudies the world over. His Lessons are careful, nicely composed, and Exams are intense. He gives a full Buffet of new thoughts, and an audit of Classic Physics (Electronics).

I am an analyst in microelectronics fabrication with interests in atomic and organic electronics. This course is a phenomenal prologue to nano transport. The key focuses are (a) Prof Datta is a magnificent educator. (b) The formalism is sufficiently improved to transmit the message. (c) I exceptionally enjoyed the unmistakable presentation of the ballistic model, the connection to thermodynamics and the presentation of the MOS transistor. In general, superb course, I am looking forward to section 2.
