Interested in how power and resources are allocated in society? Then earn your government degree in just three years and start making a difference sooner.
By enrolling in the Degree in Three government program, you'll save tuition money and start your career or graduate studies earlier. All along the way, you'll learn alongside motivated students who are just as passionate about politics as you are. You'll take classes during summer sessions. This program requires summer coursework. You'll be considered for any available financial aid programs (federal and institutional) and can receive your allotted institutional financial aid benefit throughout your three years here, including summers.

American Politics Concentration: 7 courses, 28 credits

Introductory Concentration Requirement (1 course, 4 credits)

  • Advanced Concentration Requirements (3 courses, 12 credits)

Choose three GVT electives, including internship options. Students are strongly encouraged, in consultation with their advisors, to select courses that provide a broad and balanced knowledge of American Politics.
  • International Relations Concentration: 8 courses, 31-32 credits
  • Students with a concentration in International Relations must earn the BA degree.
