Course description, features and facilities The Graduate Certificate in Business will equip you with knowledge in the principal areas of business. The course consists of four units, covering topics in accounting, economic management, marketing, and organisational behaviour.
Classes are offered on a full-time or part-time basis, and provide a nurtured introduction to university studies for students without a first degree. From 2015, select units will also be available in a fully online mode, with high levels of interactivity.
While studying, you will have the opportunity to take part in professional development seminars and workshops, and networking events with the UWA Business School’s leading corporate partners.
You can also choose to participate in LAUNCH, a personal and career development module developed by the Accelerated Learning Laboratory@UWA. LAUNCH uses a combination of psychology, personalised feedback and experiential activities to help you gain a greater understanding of your personality, values, strengths, and other areas which enable you to better manage yourself and others.
The UWA Business School is the only business school in the State to be internationally accredited by both EQUIS, the European Quality Improvement System, and AACSB, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. These leading accreditations are recognised by employers across Europe and North America, meaning that UWA Business School graduates have enhanced employment prospects worldwide.
If you choose to further your studies, the Graduate Certificate in Business can also serve as an entry point into the Master of Business Administration (see details below).
