Course description, features and facilities Students will gain clinical experience through sleep laboratory visits, clinical exercises and clinical observations during their course.
A range of sleep breathing disorders (including sleep apnoea) are covered. This course is specifically aimed at providing dental practitioners with formal training in sleep medicine to complement clinical training in the use of oral devices used in the treatment of sleep apnoea. In addition to theoretical knowledge, students assess and report the progress of actual cases.IMPORTANT NOTE (INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS): The course is available to candidates who are applying to study while continuing to live overseas. The mode of delivery for these degrees is online, and students will need access to a local respiratory physician or dedicated sleep physician who can act as a mentor as well as facilitate sleep laboratory visits in order to complete their case work,
