The TESOL specialisation explores a range of issues relating to language teaching and learning, applied linguistics and sociocultural contexts of education.
It also develops themes relating to the practical issued of language teaching and learning in a second foreign language context, and investigates the theoretical basis of these issues in the light of recent research developments.
Subject to meeting progression requirements in the graduate diploma, you may apply to transfer to the Master of Education.

Course programme
Candidates are required to complete a total of 36 credit points (cp), including: a minimum of 24 cp (4 units of study) of core units; and a maximum of 6 cp (1 unit of study) from other specialisation programs within the Faculty. The balance consists of elective units.
