The Graduate Diploma in Information Technology may be undertaken full-time over one year or part-time over two years. The course will suit candidates looking to extend and update their knowledge in advanced computing subject areas, and provides an excellent retraining opportunity for professionals who wish to move to a new IT speciality.The graduate diploma builds on the foundation of the graduate certificate and coursework undertaken from the graduate diploma may be counted towards the requirements for the Master of Information Technology.

Units of study information for this degree
Study planCandidates for the Graduate Diploma in Information Technology complete 48 credit points (cp) of foundational and specialisation units, subject to meeting prior learning requirements and timetabling. Candidates may choose to transfer to the Master of Information Technology to pursue further study, subject to meeting progression requirements.
Classes are generally held in the evening between 6pm and 9pm to accommodate professionals who are employed during the day.
