Course description, features and facilities The Graduate Diploma in Urban Design is offered by the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Visual Arts and delivered by The Australian Urban Design Research Centre (formerly the Urban Design Centre of Western Australia). It offers a comprehensive overview of the theoretical and practical aspects of urban design. Students gain some experience as individual designers and as participants in interdisciplinary groups assigned to working on the complex nature of urban issues. It also offers preliminary experience in conducting independent research.
