About this course
Completion of a Level 3 qualification at merit grade or A Level equivalent, or appropriate industrial experience/APEL. Top-up degrees require the completion of an HND or Foundation Degree.
You are also required to produce a personal corporate scheme and curriculum vitae. The corporate scheme and curriculum vitae should be creative and innovative, and should express your personal aspirations and career direction. The final images produced will be used to contact industry in a future module.

BA (Hons) Graphic Communication
Full-Time Degree
The BA (Hons) Graphic Communication course places strong emphasis on individual development, creative exploration, and the production of a professional and imaginative portfolio. The course encourages students to explore and produce exciting solutions to Graphic Communication problems through traditional and digital methods, together with an understanding of current practices and a broad contextual knowledge of the design industry.
Students will work on 'live' briefs, and enter National and International Design Competitions.
Graphic Communication in Context
Using specific skills and knowledge you will have gained from previous modules, you will then develop a realistic, self-determined, Graphic Communication project which effectively communicates information, using appropriate strategies to meet communication objectives.

The course offers progression opportunities to a wide range of careers in advertising, graphics, media and associated areas.
