Graphic Design - BTEC National Diploma level 3(2010/2011)
Study Method:
This is a well established and successful course nationally validated by BTEC.
It involves a programme of practical projects, complementary studies and work-related assignments.
The course gives young designers the skills and flexibility to meet the needs of the design business. Projects and work placements are offered by professional designers working for London design groups and agencies.
Duration :Two years.
Who the Course is For:
Students with a strong interest in all areas of design who want to develop a career in graphic design, digital design, advertising, packaging or illustration.
You will need to enjoy solving visual communication problems and to be well motivated. Graphic designers need initiative and flair as well as design skills.
Assessment:
Assessments are continuous. Detailed reports are given every 12 weeks and our grading systems are regularly evaluated by BTEC.
Informal individual tutorials help you plan your course work and give you advice on career or higher education decisions. Students keep an Individual Learning Plan to help them reach their goals.
Course Leads To:
This course will provide you with a portfolio of work to use at interviews for employment, HND, FdA or BA (hons).
