Course programme

Here, students will choose from four options, including development of a comprehensive program in a particular context, a detailed program addressing a particular risk issue, development of a business case for their current OSHE Program, or another similar option.


The Practicum will be evaluated on the basis of application of content from the courses, additional research, and the utility of the project. Learners will be coached through the entire process, starting with a review of a proposal, and feedback at key points through the entire Practicum project.

The certificate program is recognized for eligibility by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP). This course may be eligible for BCRSP Continuing Maintenance Points (CMPs).
