This course provides you a comprehensive set of practical skills needed to become a confident first aider at work, giving you both the ability and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies. Once qualified, holders of this First Aid at Work certificate can be used as First Aiders in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. This course can be adapted to suit a particular audience. The course is run over 3 days and includes both theory and practical sessions.

We are happy to deliver these courses ‘on site’ or at your premises or at a local venue of your choice. Who should attend? This course is designed for people who want to receive our most thorough first aid training and is especially suited for nominated workplace first aiders looking to gain comprehensive, certified HSE approval. The content of the course will cover how to deal with the following:

Course duration: Three days.
After completing a final assessment successful candidates receive an HABC approved certificate valid for three years. This course is legally compliant with the current Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981. Some people may benefit from a more personal touch. Those we regularly train include people with disabilities, sports groups, youth and schools groups.
