HACMP System Administration III: Problem Determination and Recovery

Aims and Objectives
Determine the configuration of a cluster.
Determine the status of the cluster.
Monitor an active cluster with standard AIX commands and HACMP utilities.
Use HACMP's SNMP based tools (for Tivoli NetView).
Migration from one version of HACMP to another.
Migration from HACMP to HACMP/ES.
Perform system administration in a highly available cluster.
Make configuration and customization changes for HACMP.

Target Audiences
This course is designed for delegates who will using an HACMP cluster on AIX version 4 using HACMP version 4.3.

Prerequisites
Students must have one years commercial HACMP system administration and networking experience.
AIX TCP/IP Communications (AU07GB).
AIX System Administration I: Implementation (AU14GB).
AIX System Administration II: Problem Determination (AU16GB).
AIX System Administration IV: Storage Management (AU20GB).
HACMP System Administration I: Planning and Implementation (AU54GB).
