History

HandPrint Studio has been providing innovative workshops in printmaking for 10 years, originally from our studio near York, moving to Cornwall at the beginning of 2009. The studio enjoys an international reputation as a centre of excellence in the teaching of innovative printmaking practice.

He has over 35 years' of successful teaching experience across a wide range of levels, and enjoys an international reputation as an artist- printmaker. He has exhibited widely throughout Britain and abroad, and his work is held in many prestigious private, public and corporate collections. Partner and fellow artist/tutor, Judy Collins, is a talented printmaker and gifted teacher with extensive experience of exhibiting throughout the UK.

Description

HandPrint Studio is a printmaking workshop located in the beautiful rural surroundings of Trewidden Garden, Buryas Bridge, near Penzance in West Cornwall. The studio is equipped with all facilities for the needs of the various courses, boasting a 24" x 48" Bewick and Wilson etching press and a 405mm x 920mm Hawthorn etching press, plus ample space for etching, plate construction, inking and printing.
